Found this great picture of a volcano in Indonesia erupting. The photo was taken in November 2007 by someone called volcanodiscovery so all credit to them.
This has been a really interesting task with many amazining and varied photos to find. Also interesting to see some of the comments left by various librarians in some of the librarian related blogs.
I created my own account as well and uploaded two test photos with tags although I don't remember where I got them or know who took them so all credit to the anonymous photographers.
I think I will be paying more visits to flickr in the future.

Task 16 Wiki collaboration
Now I really am on a roll and have jumped straight up to task 16 and made an entry on a Wiki page. Having undertaken the wiki training this was a very easy task to do.

Task 4 - Registering the Blog

Task 2 comments
Some comments on the second task concerning 7.5 Habits of Successful Lifelong Learning (and this is the shortened version of the name (blimey!)).
The easiest of those habits for me is habit 2 which is the taking responsibility for your learning. I have always been one for signing up for courses and finishing them and participating in the classes.
The hardest is habit 3 which is viewing problems as a challenge. It is all too easy to fall into the trap of thinking problems are just that and not a learning experience. Now that I have recognised this though I can do something about it.

Yes not a very original start to a new blog but then it took me somewhere between 10 and 15 attempts to find a name that hadn't already been taken.
Here is where I will be tracking my progress throughout the University of Queensland's 23 Things Online learning experience.
The creation of this blog is the culmination of the first 3 tasks in the programme and is remarkably easy. I will leave a separate post regarding task 2 and the 7.5 Habits of Lifelong Learning.
Before I sign off; for those of you who don't know Douglas Adams and his amazing Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series this is where I got the name of the blog from (and it's quite a lot shorter than "How many roads must a man walk down" which was the other alternative).
